Minor Ailments allows the opportunity to receive advice, and where appriopriate, treatment from a qualified Healthcare Professional without the need for an appointment.
Bookings prior to arrival are unnecessary in the scope of Minor Ailments and treatment is free if you are exempt from paying prescription charges.
People who pay prescription charges can eithr purchase the medicine form the pharmacy or pay the current prescription charge (whichever is the cheaper).
Royal Docks Pharmacy has been providing this service since its implementation date and has been giving sound advice and selling medicines to treat minor (less-serious) illnesses.
The scheme is open to patients permanently registered with a participating General Practitioner.
Pregnant, breast-feeding and frail/elderly patients cannot participate in the scheme.
Restrictions
Customers who present with a serious condition would be ether be referred to their GP or to the nearest A&E.
